education experiences in Australia and overseas. Recipients return home with new ideas and knowledge, and the
ability to make a significant contribution to their home countries as leaders in their field.
Australia Award scholarships are funded by the Australian government. The study and research opportunities provided
by Australia Awards Scholarships develop the skills and knowledge of individuals to drive change and contribute to
the development outcomes of their own country. The Australian Government encourages women and people with disability
to apply for Australia Awards Scholarships.
What does the scholarship cover?
Australia Awards Scholarships generally cover the following fees and entitlements:
- full tuition fees
- return air travel
- establishment allowance
- contribution to living expenses
- an Introductory Academic Program
